In their June board meeting the MassAccess board of directors spend further time reorganizing our approach to meetings, subcommittees & personnel, and our new events in replacement of our spring conference and in addition to our Fall Meet & Greets and Creator Awards such as our new Webinar series, and our Friday calls. The decision was made to move our calls to monthly starting on July 10th (there will be no meeting on 7/3 on account of the Independence day holiday). In addition to the Events discussion there was further updates from each other subcommittee including legislative where updates and strategy for S.89 & H.4045 were discussed.
Under new business some of the recent collaborations & new ventures were discussed with groups such as the MA Council on Aging, The MA College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, and WGBH. All three of these partners come to MassAccess seeking to disseminate programming and we’re excited to force these new partnerships amid COVID-19. The next MassAccess board meeting will be held by conference call in July. Between now and then is the second in our webinar series on 6/18 @11am discussing retirement benefits options.
