Community media faces threats from all sides of our day to day operations. From broadband reclassification, cord-cutting and dwindling funds to equipment problems and personnel issues. We may be working on separate sides of the state, but the challenges are parallel.

We need to remain an important part of the creative communities in which we live. To do this, we have to band together and take action. You are central to our cause, and an important part of our movement.
Membership is open to any community media organization, individual or business in Massachusetts.
MassAccess membership creates connection. You gain relationships with other centers and industry professionals. You stay tapped into changes in legislation at the State House and beyond. You gain access to the Mass Media eXchange, our email listserv and discounted entry to our annual events. Your membership keeps you plugged in to what’s happening in community media.

Working locally, you provide the citizens of Massachusetts with an important hub for learning and creating. You engage citizens and encourage their participation in the community. That work is an important piece of the MassAccess mission.
