INTRODUCTION:
Westwood Media Center (WMC) seeks a reliable and capable freelance technical director to join our team! Report directly to the Director of Original Content and Operations and work with other employees. The freelance technical director will use WMC’s equipment to broadcast and livestream municipal meetings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Broadcast and livestream municipal meetings using Anycast switcher
- Live switch meetings and add graphics
- Remote camera and audio setup
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of how a video switcher works.
- Knowledge of Zoom settings.
- Knowledge of OBS.
- Ability to pay attention to audio and use an audio board
- Knowledge of wireless microphones.
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Must be available on nights.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Must be friendly and professional while working in the field.
- Able to lift 50lbs or more and sit/stand for long periods while operating equipment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation
