Rob grew up in Stowe, Vermont and attended the University of Vermont where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater.  Rob first started work in community media in the early 1990’s as a production technician at the public access station in Burlington, VT.  In 1997 he moved to Monrovia, CA to become the executive director of Community Media of the Foothills. In 2000, Rob moved back to Vermont and set up Vermont Community Access Media (VCAM) in Burlington, taking over the management of the public access station. In 2011, Rob took the position of director for Onion River Community Access Media (ORCA Media) in Montpelier, VT. He has had many leadership roles in the community media field and currently serves on the Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region Board of Directors. In April 2022, Rob accepted the position of executive director of BevCam.
