Position Overview:
The Town of Tyngsborough seeks a passionate and qualified PT Media Production Associate/ (Live Video Producer) to collaborate with local government bodies across town. This role is essential for developing live video productions, operating sophisticated technology in the field, and managing the local cable access channels and social media. The candidate will be responsible for creating a broad range of video programming, including engaging content, live events, and coverage of government meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute various live-streaming events to engage the community.
- Manage all aspects of pre-production, audio setup, and equipment breakdown.
- Supervise on-site events and handle post-production editing and enhancement as needed.
- Ensure that the production adheres to local government rules and regulations.
- Provide programming for output distribution through web and social media platforms.
- Assist the Media Director with operations and programming of local cable access channels and social media.
- Work a combination of hours during days, evenings, and weekends (when applicable), to meet the requirements of programming, training, taping, and broadcasting.
Compensation:
- $75 per meeting ($25/hour), with a minimum of 3 hours shift per meeting.
- $21/hour for non-meeting work.
Position Details:
- This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position, working up to 19 hours weekly.
