The Town of Rehoboth is seeking applicants for Manager of Media and Communications. In order to access the talent that is available and to make an immediate hire, we will consider hiring the right individual on a full-time or part-time basis, with or without benefits. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience and education. Roles and Responsibilities:
• The Media and Communications Manager develops and manages cable TV programming for the Town; oversees all aspects of Rehoboth’s Cable Access TV. Directs and further develops the town’s media program and takes a leadership role in developing the town’s capacity and flexibility in disseminating town information and news across the range of print, video, and the internet.
• The Media and Communications Manager supervises and trains a part-time staff of videographers and technicians and is responsible for the equipment and programming used in broadcasting and recording for Cable TV and other media needs. Supervises and trains hourly staff who film meetings and ensures proper documentation and posting of these materials. Manages budgets and contracts, and reports on issues and progress.
