The Alliance for Community Media is asking it's members to turn up the HEAT!
Congress will be home from March 29th to April 9th for the Spring District Work Period (Easter Recess). ACM members should act now to request meetings with your congressional delegation when they are home. We would also suggest that you offer tours of your media centers and or interview shows. Members that are seeking reelection will love the exposure.
Home-district Easter Advocacy Team -- HEAT
We need you to meet with your delegation to make two requests:
1. Ask them to co-sponsor the CAP Act (H.R. 3745)
2. Request that they communicate with the FCC that it is past time that the Commission acted upon the ACM's Petition challenging the validity of AT&T's channel 99 PEG plan.
ACM is not asking you to take on this task cold. Help is available!
